# start_data_export

> Prepare a private personal or company export.

<Note>Signed-in account. Personal scope is available on the central MCP address without a company; company operations retain their required membership and role.</Note>

Creates a consistent one-hour snapshot for an explicit export request. Personal scope is caller-only and remains available on the central MCP address without a company; company scope requires owner/admin and excludes private notes. Read every page; artifacts above 20 MiB require assisted delivery.
